Okay, Maybe You're Right About Dogville
All right! Your arguments have convinced me. Dogville does add up. What was I thinking? Your far-ranging theories have opened my eyes. And given me lots to think about besides. There's the whole "who's a moralist in an amoral society?" And that thing about anti-Americanism being totalitarian in itself ... And then .... there's ... when Jane said... and Tom's good point about... and ... It's all good stuff.

Dogville is awesome. That's my wide-ranging argument. I thought Kidman showed quite a bit of emotional depth.
And the brutality is palpable (as it usually is in von Trier's films). And . . . and, the alienating conceit of the lack of walls goes from off-putting to mezmerizing as the film goes on.
But what I really came here to say is that Robot Secretary II is a big leap forward. Very enjoyable. That and I never got your scrabble invite.
