He helps all who read or hear him, even if they can't articulate why. I think it's because he's got such great hair.

The hair is superb. His constant struggle, dry wit, relentless critical nature, and creative striving, all do it for me also.

Nowhere. I am here.
None of us are blogging as much as we used to, though. I have other outlets of expression like facebook and twitter (yes, even the weirdness that is twitter). It's true I can't write long comments on books or experiences on either forum, the way I used to for my blog posts. But, um, I sometimes sense that for long stretches at a time, no one is reading the blog posts, while 118 people are supposedly reading my updates on facebook.
Laugh if you will, but facebook is a fun little platform for a writer. I know you have your doubts.
